HISTORY:
I joined the US Army in 1977 and spent the first two years as a Combat Medic. Over the years, I continued my education in the medical field whenever the opportunity arose.  I found myself drawn to the psyche part of nursing. During Desert Storm, I was mobilized as a Platoon Sergeant and took it upon myself to train my soldiers in stress management to enable them to wear their gas masks for long durations. In 1997, I transferred to Military Intelligence where I spent the better part of 4 years overseas before returning to the medical field.

During my last mobilization, I trained soldiers in Combat Medicine before they deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.  Realizing many of them had never even been out of their home-towns before, I offered an optional and voluntary evening class for stress management.  I was pleasantly surprised when 100% of the soldiers accepted my offer. They went overseas with CD recordings of the sessions I had made for each of them. I was extremely touched and humbled when I received numerous emails from soldiers (some that I had never met) relaying to me what a difference the practice CD’s made in their stress and sleeping habits.

After serving 29 years in the military, I retired in 2006. I decided to take stress management a step further and went back to school to certify as a Hypnotherapist. I opened my private practice in 2007.

GOALS:

I volunteer a portion of my time speaking at meetings such as Kiwanas Clubs, Chambers of Commerce and large corporations who acknowledge how much more productive their employees are when their stress and/or pain is managed.  These free seminars introduces people to hypnotherapy and its many benefits.

I have

successfully

treated over 100 people for weight loss and another 50 for chronic pain management. Each

patient is evaluated and treated  individually.  Their sessions are tailored for their specific behavioral issues.

My goal is to provide avenues for personal betterment and comfort for those who come to me for therapies.

I have a range of therapies, and I am flexible in helping you obtain and maintain your goals.

I take a personal satisfaction in each and every success story.
